As the cosmetic/beauty industry continues to grow at an exponential rate, consumers may become overwhelmed with the number of choices in makeup and skincare. Additionally, there has been a rise in the number of optical complications from beauty products and services. We knew we wanted to find a way to educate our patients as well as offer high-quality beauty products that are safe for the eyes.
We hope to see you at Innovative Eye Care’s Beauty Open House on April, 28th from 3 to 6 PM. We will be featuring twenty/twenty beauty, a collection of products designed by board-certified ophthalmologist, Dr. Diane Halal-Campo. There will be products available for purchase, as well as a raffle for a “swag bag” with eyeshadows and eyeliner. You’re more than welcome to attend if you don’t plan on purchasing anything. This is a great opportunity to learn more about how makeup and beauty products/services can cause damage to the eyes.

“This has been a passion project for me. I formulated the line because of the dramatic rise in the number of dry eye patients, the vast majority women, that I have been seeing over the past 10 years… I have also been treating an increasing number of patients with complications from unsafe beauty practices, like eyelash perms, lash extensions, tightlining, and tattooing of eyeliner. Many of which are popularized by social media, TikTok, and IG. I wanted to give women healthy alternatives and use the platform to educate the thought leaders in the beauty industry, as well as other doctors, and women in general. My slogan is, ‘Healthy Eyes Are Beautiful Eyes.'”
